Swedish designer LELO is a designer of sex toys. Nothing new about that. But what their adult toys look like is very, very different to what most people think these pleasure objects should look like. LELO are pioneers of super sexy designer pleasure objects.
LELO have lead the style re-design revolution. In 2003 they launched LELO Lily, a personal massager. Surprisingly it wasn’t made of plastic containing nasties like phthalates. And it didn’t even try to look like a part of the male anatomy.
Instead Lily was a smooth pink pebble, shaped into an interesting curve. She looked like she would fit in the palm of your hand and you would really have no idea that Lily was a vibrator. Massager perhaps, but not a sex toy that could deliver earth shattering orgasms.
Suddenly the adult toy market had a new offering. It was chic, sophisticated and catered for fashionable women. LELO’s product range grew and grew, and in 2007 they were the first sex toy company to offer pure gold or silver vibrators and dildos. Objects from the LUXE range will set you back a few thousand dollars!
LELO continued to create their product range releasing new designs in 2008. LELO Insignia, like LUXE, also feature a little bit of gold, but aren’t anywhere near as expensive. Products in the Insignia range have been recognised for their performance, design and all round popularity.
Insignia vibrators were also entirely waterproof. This means women can use them in the bath, shower or even hot tub! And the new Insignia have remote controls, called SenseMotion, allowing you to experience what you partner feels through the remote.
This includes Insignia, Femme and the LELO range of accessories like cosmetics and accessories like pleasure ties and leather whips. Not to mention the international best sellers, LELO Luna Beads, made popular from Fifty Shades of Grey.
Today LELO continues their design push, having recently re-designed the Magic Wand. They have taken it to the 21st century, making it entirely seamless wand, rechargeable and waterproof, these designers look like they won’t stop until all the world is familiar with their great designs.
